Keeping up with short-term rental schedules is a challenge! They are constantly changing. If a link can be added to the client's appointment/profile for their rental schedule, it would change everything! If there was a notification when changes in their schedule are made, it would blow my mind!!!!!!

Amar Ghose to the second part of Carrie's request, does adding the link in custom field give us a notification when changes in schedule are made or do we have to click the link all the time to check for updates to bookings?

Mike Conners: There's a function to automatically email your cleaners and clients when your schedule changes but I don't think that triggers just by adding to a custom field

Amar Ghose: So adding the clickable link into the customer field doesn't actually do anything to update the schedule, it's just there so we can click it and view the calendar for bookings?

Mike Conners: It will update their information in their apps in real time so I wouldn't say it doesn't actually do anything. But changing a custom field will not trigger a notification on its own. Adding a note should though!

Links can now be added in your custom fields!
Head to your settings and create a customer custom field 'rental schedule link'. Click save then edit any client profile. You'll see the new field you just added and you can add a clickable link there :-)

Not for this one - just type a link into any custom field and you'll see it work, not much to show on video :-)

I am new to all this! Does this work with Airbnb to sync calendars as the clients guest book or do we have to manually enter it?
