Go to calendar settings, colors (statuses) and select "canceled"

From there you can modify if it shows or not on the calendar by default. This will allow it to show on you schedule no matter what.

Allow bulk functions to be applied (that the user has predetermined) to be applied to appointments with status Cancelled (or any status). For example, in Settings, the user can determine that when an appointment's status is Cancelled, the color is X, the revenue changes to $0, and employees/teams are unassigned.

i was just talking about this yesterday to my schedule.... a customer called wanting to know when her next clean was and we noticed looking at past appointments she had a recent cancelation which shifted her appointment. we had to do al sorts of click on future, click on past, click on customer profile to figure out why it had shifted because it wasn't on the calendar....seems like something that could be an easy fix since currently it disappears, jus tmake it not. lol

We've created a job type called cancelled and have set it as its own colour (we set ours to colour code by job type as opposed to by employee). That way it not only can be set to show on schedule but we can add notes as to reason for cancellation.

I agree! I tried setting cancelled appointment to show and set the color to dark grey (my preference), but they still just disappear from the schedule.

add in a comment about it for now under tasks - thats what we do. Also going into that customers schedule keeps a record if they have had any appointments in the passed that have been cancelled.
