Tip amounts are already collected through Stripe and Square and appear on individual appointment records. The missing piece is that tips are not included in the Payroll / Earnings report, which is how owners determine exactly what to pay each cleaner each week.
The Specific Gap
The Payroll / Earnings report currently shows:
Hours worked
Hourly rate
Total labor pay
It does not show:
Tips collected per appointment
Tips attributed per cleaner
Tips included in the weekly total owed to each cleaner
What We Need
Each cleaner's payroll entry should show their labor pay, their tips for the period, and the combined total. The tip data already exists on the appointment record — it just needs to roll up into the payroll calculation.
Impact
Without this, owners cannot use ZenMaid as their single source of truth for weekly payroll. Tips must be tracked manually outside the platform every single week, which defeats the purpose of an integrated payroll report.
The data is already in your system. We just need it included in payroll.
