I’d love to request a feature that would greatly improve payroll accuracy for cleaning companies like mine.

Currently, my employees clock in and out of each individual job, which is great for tracking job time. However, I also pay my team for drive time between homes and from their first job to their last job of the day.

What I need is the ability for employees to:

• Clock in at the start of their workday (Start of Day)

• Clock in/out of each scheduled job as usual

• Clock out at the end of their workday (End of Day)

This would allow me to:

• Accurately calculate total paid hours including drive time

• Compare total day hours vs job hours

• Avoid using a separate time tracking system

• Keep everything inside ZenMaid

Right now, there is no clean way to capture total day hours while still tracking individual job duration.

A simple daily “master clock” in addition to per-job tracking would solve this and eliminate the need for third-party time tracking software.

I know many cleaning business owners pay drive time, so I believe this would be widely beneficial.
