I have an admin assistant and she does not need access to see the other employees social security numbers for instance. I would like a feature to allow access to some things and hide access for other things.

I just encountered this issue when promoting two of my team members to Team Lead. I wanted them to get access to everyone's schedule so they can perform random quality checks but they will be able to see all the prices. It would be nice to create different roles and get the option to choose who see what.

Linda Barbee: there is settings you can turn off and on so there actually is a way to block them from seeing pricing

Hello I went ahead and was looking deeper into what a manager can see, as I created another user to play around with it. If you go to reports and all invoices they are able to see pending invoices there. Also able to see payroll( and you are able to see other peoples pay). If they look up a client and look at invoices they can see past and over due there as well. I'm hoping that they will not be able to have access to any of this.

I would like to be able to hide all pricing, billing prices, revenue prices and payroll running reports and certain things on the dashboard ( recent unpaid appointments thank you Jenn :-)

We're doing this step by step - we just released the ability to hide appt. prices and revenue from your office managers. Check your calendar settings page!

Amar Ghose: hey are you guys going to roll out the feature to give Office workers different permissions soon? We are having issues with office staff being jealous by seeing payroll information which they should not technically have the permission to see?

We have not moved forward with this yet as it's a very complicated one to implement without introducing bugs. We're working on a testing suite that would help us to catch such issues before we take anything live and after we have that in place we'll be able to consider this feature and others we've been hesitant to move forward with.

Amar Ghose: thank you, reliability of the Zenmaid system should always be the first priority over new feature developments. I'm happy to trade off any new functionality in order to preserve system stability and reliability with the core functionality - calendar appointment management. If Zenmaid can just do this alone great, for me it has ticked all the boxes. Thanks for sharing this update.
